1. My Profile Section

Welcome to your profile management center! This guide will help you create a compelling professional presence. Here's how to make the most of your profile:

Getting Started

  1. My Experience: Document your professional journey by adding your work history, education, life experiences, language proficiencies, and professional certifications.
  2. About Me: Customize your basic profile details including your profile photo, full name, location, email address, current occupation, and desired career path.
  3. My Resume: View your uploaded resume and manage resume updates. You can upload a new version whenever needed.
  4. Settings: Control your profile visibility, choose your preferred language (Arabic or English), and manage your resume settings.

Document your professional journey in chronological order. Include your key accomplishments, responsibilities, and impact in each role. Be specific and quantify your achievements where possible.

Education, Hobbies, Languages & Certifications

Create a comprehensive overview of your qualifications:

  • List your academic degrees
  • Add professional certifications
  • Include ongoing courses and training
  • Specify language proficiencies
  • Note completion dates and academic honors
  • Share relevant hobbies and interests

Your professional snapshot includes:

  • Full Name: As you like it to appear professionally
  • Current Location: City and country
  • Email Address: Your preferred contact email
  • Current Occupation: Your present role
  • Career Path: Your desired professional direction

Resume Management

Updating Your Resume

You have two options for managing your resume:

  1. Add a resume to enhance your existing profile
  2. Upload a new version to replace your current resume

Important Note: All skills previously extracted from your old resume will be removed from your profile when you upload a new resume. Make sure your new resume includes all relevant skills.

Profile Visibility

Control who can discover your professional profile:

  • ON: Your profile is visible to potential employers and recruiters
  • OFF: Your profile remains private and unsearchable

Language Preferences

Select your preferred platform language:

Skills I Have

This section provides a comprehensive overview of your skill inventory and proficiency levels.

Skill Overview

  • View your total number of skills across all categories
  • Skills are organized by type and proficiency level
  • Includes both verified and unrated skills

Organization Options

  • Sort by proficiency level to track your expertise

  • Group by category to understand your skill distribution

  • Filter to focus on specific skill types

Categories include:

  • Newly Added
  • New Improved 
  • Emerging  
  • High risk of being impacted by AI
  • Low risk of being impacted by AI
  • Green

Proficiency Levels

  • Level 5 (Experienced): Expert-level mastery with extensive practical application
  • Level 4 (Advanced): Strong competency with deep understanding
  • Level 3 (Intermediate): Good working knowledge and regular application
  • Level 2 (Beginner): Basic understanding and limited experience
  • Level 1 (Entry): Foundational knowledge, just starting out

Note: In this example, the user does not have any skills set at Level 3 (Intermediate)

Unrated Skills

These are skills automatically detected from your profile that need your assessment. Review these regularly to:

  • Validate their relevance
  • Assign appropriate proficiency levels
  • Keep your skill inventory accurate

1. Search by Skill Name:

  • Enter specific skills you want to add
  • View detailed information about each skill
  • Discover related skills in your field

2. Search by Occupation:

  • Enter job titles to see required skills
  • Compare against your current skillset
  • Identify skills to develop

Understanding Your Search Results

Each skill provides valuable information through the menu (three dots):

  • Complexity Rating: Understanding the skill's difficulty level

  • Skill Category: Technical, General, or Human classification

  • Learning Resources: Available training materials and courses

  • Skill Definition: Detailed explanation of the capability

  • Add to Profile: Option to include the skill in your profile

Related Skills Feature

The system suggests connected skills to help you:

  • Build a well-rounded skill portfolio

  • Identify specialized skills within your field

  • Discover emerging skills in your industry
